ORDER

By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner's Representation dated 23.02.2019 and to initiate immediate action for sanctioning the Fixed Deposit Amount of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees One Lakh only) to the Petitioner along with interest at the rate of 14% accrued thereon from the period of 13.03.1998 to 13.03.2018, vide Fixed Deposit Receipt No.000189. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Government, Advocate appearing for the first respondent submits that the 2nd respondent is the competent authority to consider and pass orders on the representation of the Petitioner .

4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 23.02.2019 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
