J., This Application has been filed seeking to extend the time period for conclusion of the Arbitral Proceedings between the applicant and the respondent by a further period of 6 months till 31.08.2023. 2.Learned counsel appearing for the applicant would submit that the time fixed by this Court in Arb.O.P(Com.Div).No.498 of 2019, to complete the arbitration proceedings has come to an end and now, the arbitration proceedings is at the stage of cross-examination. Therefore, the present application has been filed seeking to extent the mandate.
3.Learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4, 8 to 11 would submit that he has no objection in allowing the present application. 4.As far the respondents 1, 3, 5 to 7, are concerned, though they have entered appearance in Arb.O.P.(Com.Div).No.498 of 2019, none appeared on behalf of them in the present application.

J., rst 5.Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing the applicant and the respondents 4, 8 to 11 and since there was no representation for the other respondents, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Sole Arbitrator by six more months. 6.Accordingly, the present application is ordered and the learned Arbitrator is directed to complete the Arbitration Proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 13.03.2023 rst A.No.1482 of 2023 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2/2
