Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents particularly the first respondent, to consider the representation dated 23.03.2017 submitted by the petitioners and to pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a time to be specified by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners on 23.03.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners states that the respondents are now taking attempt to deviate the recruitment rules. The reservation of 20% of the post granted to the Village Assistant/Village Head men for promotion to the post of Village Administration Officer has not been followed. With these grievances, the writ petitioners have submitted a representation on 23.03.2017 and the same is yet to be considered.

3.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioners on 23.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioners are directed to enclose the copy of the representation and all relevant Government Orders along with the order passed in this writ petition.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
