Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 3(i)(r)(s), 3(2)(Va), SC/ST P.O. Act read with 294(b), 323, 324 I.P.C. in Crime No.434 of 2016, the petitioners have come up with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that as the alleged offence comes under SC/ST Act, this petition is not maintainable.

Taking note of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.

Side), this petition is dismissed as not maintainable. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum.
