ORDER

Heard Mr.P.Ebenezer Paul, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajendran, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The Writ Petition has been disposed of with a direction to the Joint Director of School Education to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner. Now, it is stated by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the Orders have been passed by the Chief Educational Officer and the said Order has also been placed before this Court.

3. I have perused the Order. Since the Chief Educational Officer is the competent authority to pass an Order as per Rules, the matter has been placed before the Chief Educational Officer and appeal has also been disposed of. Now, this Court cannot onceagain direct the Joint Director of School Education to dispose the appeal. As such, there is no willful contempt arise at all. It is for the petitioner to challenge the Order in the manner known to law.

4. With the above observation, this Contempt Petition is closed.
