(The case has been heard through video conference) This writ petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 29.07.2019 by passing appropriate orders within the time fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.Annaiezhil, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondents submitted that the second respondent has fixed the date of hearing as 17.08.2020 at 11am.

3. In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the appeal strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
