and the Field Measurement Application No.2026/N123/18/000540 dated 13.02.2026, and consequently appoint the competent Taluk Surveyor to survey, measure and demarcate the property comprised in Survey No.67/13, Sub Division No.13, measuring 0-12.5000 Hectares, situated at Kurinjipadi North Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District, with the aid of the 4th respondent police to provide adequate police protection at the time of survey and to ensure unobstructed access to the property through the existing pathway.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his online application, dated 13.02.2026 and the representations dated 20.08.2025 and 16.10.2025 with the assistance of the 4th respondent.

2. The petitioner had submitted representation dated 20.08.2025 and 16.10.2025 and also an application through on-line on 13.02.2026 for Page No.2 of 6

the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.V.Meganatha, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 4th respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 3rd respondent is are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit to put on notice within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the 3rd respondent directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the 3rd respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the 3rd respondent, the 4th respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

(d) There shall be no order as to costs.
