ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.42172 of 2016, by order dated 01.12.2016, directed the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Review Petition dated 24.06.2015 seeking approval of the post of Assistant Professor in English in Pope's College, Thuthukkudi, with effect from 09.03.2012 in the sanctioned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ retirement vacancy of Dr.T.Joseph Christadoss and seeking

regularization of his service with effect from 09.03.2012 and payment of monetary and service benefits due to him, within a period of six weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 01.12.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government that pursuant to the order of this Court, the respondent has passed a positive order on the review application of the petitioner and thus, the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.

4.Recording the statement made by the learned Government Advocate, this Contempt Petition is closed.
