Mr.Kalyana Raman, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent made a submission that the voluntary retirement application was pending and this writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the second respondent to accept the petition submitted by the writ petitioner seeking voluntary retirement. However, the writ petitioner was due for retirement on 30.04.2014 and he was allowed to retire from service and accordingly, the writ petitioner was relieved from service. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.In this view of the fact, no further adjudication is required on the grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
