The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records in the impugned G.O.Ms.No.225 Health & Family Welfare ( N1) Department dated 17.07.2012 passed by the respondent and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned.
2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel for the petitioner drew the attention of this Court G.O.Ms.No.225, Health and Family Welfare (N1) Department, wherein it is stated in para 9(iii) as follows:
" To serve notice to the junior most candidates who were promoted as Block Health Supervisors between 27.08.96 to 01.02.2006 for future refixation of their pay and pension"
If this direction is implemented, petitioner would get affected and therefore, this Writ Petition is filed seeking quashment of G.O.Ms.No.225, Health and Family Welfare (N1) Department.
3. In response, the learned Government Advocate produced a notification from District Health Officer, Thiruvarur to The Director, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Chennai in R.N.3417/A2/2024 dated 05.04.2024. It reads as follows:
In response, to the reference cited, the Block Health Supervisors who had been worked in Thiruvarur Health Unit District as detailed herewith, the pay of such employees was not revised as per G.O.Ms.No.225 dated 17.07.2012. It is seen from this communication that for the Block Health Supervisor who had worked in Thiruvarur Health Unit District, their pay was not revised as per G.O.Ms.No.225 dated 17.07.2012.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner represented that, recording the submission of the learned Government as per the notification in R.N.3417/A2/2024 dated 05.04.2024, this Writ Petition may be closed.
5. It is seen from the communication that, petitioner's pay was not revised and he is no way affected by the impugned G.O.Ms.No.225 dated 17.07.2012. Thus, this Court is of the view that, it is not necessary to pass any orders in this petition.
