ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct investigation on the complaint and file a final report in Crime No.5 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.5 of 2016 for an offence under Sections 496(A) and 406 IPC on 16.06.2016 and thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition seeking proper investigation in Crime No.5 of 2016.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
4. Taking into consideration of the fact that case was registered as early as on 16.06.2016, the present criminal original petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2016 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and file the final report within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
