Alleging, disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.3467 of 2009 dated 21/8/2009, Contempt Petition
No.2696 of 2014 has been filed.
2. On this day, Mr.P.H.Aravindh Pandian, learned Additional Advocate General submitted that a sum of Rs.2,46,76,950/- (Rupees Two Crores Forty Six lakhs Seventy six thousand nine hundred and fifty only) has been paid to the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Coimbatore Division No.II), Employees Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society Ltd., Erode for which Mr.M.Shankar Diraviam, Secretary of the said Society has issued a receipt.
3. Mr.K.Premkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has acknowledged the said submission. Receipt, dated 30/12/2015, which issued by the Secretary, P.E.48, Employees' Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society Ltd., Erode is extracted hereunder:- "I, M.Sankar Diraviam, Secretary, TNSTC (Cbe Dvn II), Employees Co-operative Thrift & Credit Society Ltd., Erode received a sum of Rs.2,46,76,950/- (Rupees Two crores forty six lakhs seventy six thousand nine hundred and fifty only) vide 16 cheque Nos as follows towards interim amount from TNSTC (Cbe) Ltd., Erode Region as per our Contempt Petition No.2696/2014 in W.P.No.3467/2009.
