This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 15.11.2023 in accordance with the Special Rules of Tamil Nadu Municipal Commissioner' Service within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that on the appeal filed by the petitioner, enquiry has been fixed today, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner.

4. In view of the above submission, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
