Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner on 21.12.2012 against the order passed in Na.Ka.No.11078/Aa1/2011 dated 11.06.2012 passed by the District Registrar (Administration), Cuddalore.

ORDER

Aggrieved by the order passed by the District Registrar (Administration), Cuddalore dated 11.6.2012 cancelling the registration of Will executed by the petitioner's father dated 4.2.84, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, the first respondent herein on 21.12.2012. As the said appeal has not been disposed of, she has come to this Court.

This Court, putting on notice the learned Government Advocate for the first respondent, hereby directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the pending appeal of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
