ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J. ] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been listed in the special list, today, on being mentioned by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu, namely, P.Gnanavel, son of Panneerselvan, before this Court and to set him at liberty.

The second respondent Police had produced the detenu, namely, P.Gnanavel, aged about 36 years, before this Court. On enquiry, the detenu had stated that, due to certain matrimonial disputes, he had been living with his mother, the third respondent herein. He had stated that he would like to go and live along with the petitioner, in his matrimonial home. In view of the submission made by the detenu, this Court finds it appropriate to permit the detenu to go along with the petitioner herein, as per his wish. Accordingly, the detenu, namely, P.Gnanavel, is permitted to go along with the petitioner herein, as per his wish. No further orders are necessary in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
