.. Respondent Prayer:- Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act 1971, r/w. Article 215 of the Constitution of India, praying to punish the respondent for having willfully and deliberately disobeyed the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 15.09.2015 passed in Crl.OP.No.18050 of 2015, according to law.

ORDER
Heard Mr.A.P.Sathyamurthy, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.
2. This Court, in Crl.OP.No.18050 of 2016, has passed the following order :
"3.It is seen that the petitioner's wife had given a complaint against him in
CSR.No.79 of 2015, which was closed, since the petitioner who is a sailer had gone on a sea voyage. Now the petitioner has given a complaint against his wife, which is under enquiry.
4. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry in both the complaints and take action in accordance with law.
With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed."
3. Alleging non-compliance of the above order, this Contempt Petition has been filed.
4. Today, when the matter was called, Ms.N.Revathy, Inspector of Police, W-19, All Women Police Station, Adayar, Chennai - 600 020 (Mobile No.9498170914), is present.
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that petition enquiry was conducted, and during enquiry, it was found that the allegations made by the petitioner cannot be investigated by the respondent-All Women Police Station, and it should be investigated only by the Central Crime Branch. Hence, petition enquiry is closed by the respondent-police with a direction to the petitioner to approach the Central Crime
Branch. A copy of the closure report is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
