By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that he is the Dharmakartha of Sri Mariamman Koil, Nadumedu, Kamanaickanpalayam Post, Athur Taluk, Salem District. He submitted an application on 15.04.2015 praying for permission to conduct song and dance programme in connection with the temple festival. Though it was acknowledged, he is yet to be favoured with any response and hence he came forward with this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.K.T.S.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court, without going into merits of the representation/application, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/application dated 15.04.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 04.05.2015 and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
