Today, these cases were listed under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner vide their letter dated 03.08.2022, seeking correction in the order dated 06.07.2022.
2. When the matters were called, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a direction was given by this Court in the Open Court on 06.07.2022 to the Trial Court to dispose of the S.T.C.Nos.8157, 8158, 8159 and 8160 of 2021 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. However, on perusal of the Order Copy, he came to know that the concerned portion fixing time limit to dispose of the above S.T.C.Nos. were missing in the Order copy. Hence, he seeks this Cout to incorporate the time-limit as fixed by this Court on 06.07.2022, for disposing of the said S.T.C.Nos.8157, 8158, 8159 and 8160 of 2021 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, Salem.
3. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, Paragraph No.4 of the Order dated 06.07.2022 is to be read as follows: 1/3
"4. In such view of the matter, the personal appearance of the petitioners before the trial Court is hereby dispensed with provided that they shall be present before the Trial Court as and when required and also at the time of questioning under Section 313, Cr.P.C and at the time of passing judgment. Further, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.5, Salem to dispose of the S.T.C.Nos. 8157, 8158, 8159 and 8160 of 2021 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order."
4. Except the above modification, the Order dated 06.07.2022 remains intact. The Registry is directed to make necessary corrections in the said order and issue fresh copies.
