considering the petitioner's complaint dated 02.02.2024 within a stipulated period.

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner. 2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in C.P.No.5 of 2024 on the file of the 1st respondent Police.

3.The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a 2/4

period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
