ORDER
While disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.13215 of 2016, by order dated 15.04.2016, this Court directed the respondent herein viz., Block Development Officer (Village Panchayat, Kandamangalam, Villupuram District, to comply with the proceedings of the Assistant Director of Panchayat5, Collectorate, Villupuram, dated 28.01.2016, and conduct enquiry
by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and necessary parties, including the alleged persons who have misappropriated the money as stated by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 15.04.2016 passed by this Court.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) represented that in compliance with the order of this Court, the respondent has conducted the enquiry and passed an order vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A2/645/16, dated 28.07.2016 closing the enquiry as there was no misappropriate as alleged by the petitioner. He has also produced a copy of the said order passed by the respondent. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and the same is closed accordingly. 09.02.2018 Index : Yes / No Internet : yes / No ssv
