Prayer: Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue an open advertisement with regard to selection and appointment to the post of Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Medical Officer in the second respondent College and to consider the candidature of all the qualified and eligible applicants for the said post, along with those whose names have been sponsored by the fourth respondent and also to invoke the relevant provisions for considering the physically handicapped persons to the said posts and to accordingly consider the candidature of the petitioner herein for selection and appointment to the said post in the second respondent college.
