Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct fair enquiry based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 05.09.2019.
3. It is stated that the petitioner made a complaint dated 05.09.2019 before the second respondent to take necessary action against her husband and her in-laws. It is further stated that the second respondent registered CSR receipt No.171 of 2019 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
forwarded the complaint to the first respondent to conduct fair enquiry. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the first respondent has not taken any steps to conduct enquiry. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition with the relief as stated supra.
4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to conduct fair enquiry based on the compliant dated 05.09.2019 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
