This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the FIR pending in Crime No.111 of 2024 dated 08.02.2024 from the file of the second respondent to any other competent authority for investigation.

2. Heard Mr.J.N.Naresh Kumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. The First Information Report itself has been registered only on 08.02.2024 in Crime No.111 of 2024. Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the petitioner had given the complaint in the year 2022 itself and it was acted upon very late and therefore, the present petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation.

4. In the considered view of this Court, some time must be given to the respondent police to proceed further with the investigation after the registration of the First Information Report on 08.02.2024. If the investigation is not progressing, it is left open to the petitioner to revive 2/4

the claim after some time.
