Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 11.04.2011 and to revise the scale of pay of the petitioner and fix the salary as per G.O.Ms.No.762, Finance Department, dated 20.08.1986 and consequently revise the group of post on absorption into Corporation Service and to confer the benefit of higher revision of pay subsequently in the following Pay Commissions and to pay the arrears of salary with interest and with all consequential benefits.

With the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is for considering the petitioner's request, whereby he has sought for revision of his pay scale.
3. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Special Government Pleader drew attention of this Court to the counter affidavit filed by the third respondent and submitted that the petitioner's representation has been considered and favourable orders have been passed on 01.08.2016 and through a letter dated 19.12.2018, a communication was sent to the petitioner about his promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer with effect from 17.04.2012 along with all monetary benefits.
4. In view of the same, the petitioner's grievance has been considerably met and hence, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
