This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 26 days in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment passed in Special Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial registered under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989, Villupuram.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.
