This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings No.41034/5/2014 dated 06.10.2017, issued by the third respondent and quash the same in so far as it treats the employees working in Junior Management Grade Scale I and above, in public sector Page No.2 of 4
banks and insurance companies as equivalent to Group A services of the Central Government Services and thereby denying reservation to the sons and daughters of such employees under 27% of other backward class quota in the appointment to the Central Government Services and admission to the Educational Institutions run by the Central Government.
2. When the matter was listed on 26.03.2025, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was ordered to be listed on 01.04.2025 under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, when the matter was called, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs.
