Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to execute the warrant issued on 10.09.2025 by the learned XXVI Metropolitan Magistrate in STC.Nos.2556, 2560 and 2559 of 2023 and arrest one Jahabar Jassam Hajamaideen.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police produced a copy of the communication from the Inspector of Police, Ayyampettai Circule, Thanjavur District addressed to the Metropolitan Magistrate No.XXVI, Egmore, Chennai, enclosing the Village Administrative Officer's certificate. In the said communication, the Inspector of Police, Ayyampettai Circule, Thajavur District, also requested to issue LOC(Look Out Circular). A perusal of the above communication would show that Jahabar Jassam Hajamaideen is not residing in the address mentioned in the cause title and is residing abroad. Therefore, this Court directs the learned Metropolitan Magistrate No.XXVI, Egmore, Chennai, to take appropriate steps considering the communication of the Inspector of Police, Ayyampettai Circule, Thajavur District, to ensure the presence of Mr.Jahabar Jassam Hajamaideen. 4.
With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
