The present Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking to grant leave to the petitioner/complainant to prosecute the above Criminal appeal before this Court against the order of acquittal dated 09.11.2023 in C.A.No.42 of 2023, setting aside the judgment of trial court in C.C.No.2669 of 2017 dated 06.01.2023 for the offence u/s.138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and leave is granted to the petitioner to prosecute the appeal.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
