O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned receipt dated 15.02.2025 issued by the respondent and for a consequential direction to the respondent to release the registered power of attorney dated 15.02.2025 presented by the petitioner for registration.

2.Heard Mr.N.Ponraj, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondent.

3.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader produced the written instructions received from the respondent wherein, it has been stated that the property falls within the jurisdiction of the Sub Registrar, Moolanur and whereas, the petitioner resides within the jurisdiction of the respondent and therefore, information has been sought for from the Sub Registrar, Moolanur and on receipt of the information, the document will be registered, if it is otherwise in order.

4.Considering the above submission and also the written instructions received from the respondent and considering the age of the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondent to register the document, if it is otherwise in order and this process shall be completed, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
