O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3, particularly, the second respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 02.12.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta issued in favour of respondents 4 and 5 to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.V.R.Appaswamee, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the 2/4

petitioner on 02.12.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 4 and 5 and orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
