This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on the complaint given by the 2nd respondent, who is none other than the wife of the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending.
4. In view of the above, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be given. However, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is directed to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
