ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to take appropriate action on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 02.06.2023.

2. Upon hearing the learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents and perusing the material records of the case, it can be seen that the grievance of the petitioner is that as far as the documents relating to the Highways Department regarding preparation of estimate etc., all made only in English. The petitioner had made a representation that those estimates etc., can also be 2/5

prepared and made available in Tamil. When the petitioner made a representation by a communication dated 13.06.2023, the first respondent has forwarded the same to the second respondent for action at his end.

3. In view thereof, it is for the second respondent to take a call in the matter depending on the feasibility and pass orders thereon. The second respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2023 and pass orders thereon in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
