O R D E R

(Made by Huluvadi G.Ramesh,J) The petitioner has come up with this contempt petition alleging non compliance of the order dated 22.7.2016 made in W.A.No.573 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. A perusal of the proceedings dated 26.11.2016, which was passed pursuant to the direction of this Court in the writ appeal, discloses that the application for compassionate appointment was made by the petitioner belatedly, namely beyond the prescribed period of three years and therefore, the respondent has rejected the request of the petitioner. We do not find any contempt on the part of the respondent.

4. However, in view of the submissions made by the petitioner, we direct the respondents to re-consider the case of the petitioner and to pass orders as early as possible.

The contempt petition is closed.
