ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under sections 379, 21

(1) Mines & Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.603 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. On reading the FIR, it indicates that massive illegal transportation of minerals has been unraveled, while the respondent conduct vehicle check. Wherein, 17 vehicles carrying minerals, without valid permit was detained by the respondent police and the drivers of 8 vehicles forcibly took away the vehicle, only 9 vehicles were able to detained by the respondent police and in those 9 vehicles, the permits were altered and manipulated and some of the permits were incomplete and fabricated and hence those 9 vehicles were detained for further proceedings.

3. The petitioners herein claiming innocents, being drivers of the vehicle bearing Reg. No. TN-11-AE-4180, approached this Court for anticipatory bail.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any such offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he pleads for anticipatory bail.

5. Considering the manner in which, massively minerals been transported in 17 vehicles and further 8 vehicles are been forcibly taken away by the accused persons, in spite of detaining by the respondent police, prompts this Court to dismiss this petition, since the likelihood of the petitioner is absconding.
