This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 20.11.2014 and investigate the matter.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent Police about dowry harassment on 20.11.2014 and since no action has been initiated, the present Original Petition has been filed.

4. It is represented by the learned Government Advocate that a case has been registered by the respondent police, on the complaint given by the petitioner in Crime No.13 of 2014 for offences under Section 498A and 506[i] IPC r/w Section 4 and 6 [2] of Dowry Prohibition Act and after investigation, charge sheet also has been laid in C.C.No.8 of 2015 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Panruti.
