PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA i.e., cross relaxation massage in the name and style of "V.K.EMPIRE SALOON & SPA" at Door 4/667, Venkateswara Avenue, OMR, PTC Quarters, Okkiyam Thuraipakkam, Chennai - 600 097, by passing orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2023.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 24.02.2023 and grant No Objection Certificate to enable the petitioner to run a SPA.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that there was a bifurcation and the jurisdiction is now vested before the Tambaram Commissionerate.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation along with all relevant documents before the Commissioner of Police, Tambaram Commissionerate and the same shall be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law and a decision shall be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh representation from the petitioner.

4. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
