ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to re-re-consider the petitioner's claim for compensation under Section 10 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 and in terms of the recommendations dated 15.12.2022 of the Deputy Salt Commissioner, Chennai issued in C.No.11015/3/W/GI/2011/6050-6055 within a reasonable time frame.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made several representations seeking compensation for the lands acquired by the second Page No.2 of 4

respondent. However, the first respondent has rejected the petitioner's claim seeking compensation vide order dated 07.05.2022. Challenging the same, the petitioner had already filed a writ petition in W.P.No.25019 of 2022 and the same is pending before this Court. Subsequently, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the above said prayer.

3. In view of the pendency of the writ petition in W.P.No.25019 of 2022, no order is necessary in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
