O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner based upon the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2022.

2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a rivalry claim against the private respondents for removal of encroachment and the petitioner apprehends that there is threat to his life. Hence, he seeks police protection.

Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint of the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and the private respondents had given an undertaking that not to make any threat or not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioner.

4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsels for the respondents.

5.Such view of the matter, no further order is required for police protection. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is Closed.
