Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 439 (1) (b) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to modify the conditions imposed vide order dated 28.02.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.1913 of 2019 in CCB X Cr.No.18 of 2018, by the CCB & CBCID Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Egmore, Chennai. For Petitioner : Mr.S.K.Kannadasan For Respondent : Ms.M.Prabhavathi, APP

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed by the Court below.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the Court below had granted Statutory Bail to the petitioner, the condition imposed by the Court below is modified as follows:

1) the condition imposed by the Court below in directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.25 lakhs is hereby set aside.

2) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties for a like some and both sureties must be the blood relative of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3) the other conditions imposed by the Court below shall stand as it is.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above modification.
