ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.15179 of 2020, dated 28.09.2020, thereby directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No. 613 of 2014, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the respondent has already completed the investigation and Deferred Charge Sheet notice also served to the petitioner/defacto complainant on 26.09.2014 itself.

3. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner even till today did not receive any Deferred Charge Sheet notice in Crime No.613 of 2014.

4. Considering the above submission, the respondent is directed to serve fresh Deferred Charge Sheet notice to the petitioner/defacto complainant, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition in the manner known to law, if so advised. 2/3
