The petition is to quash the First Information Report in Crime No. 71 of 2020 filed for the alleged offence under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471 & 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is reported by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that pursuant to the investigation, final report has been filed in C.C. No. 1127 of 2023 before the XI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. 3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if he is aggrieved. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
