O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 18.11.2021 made in W.P.No.12409 of 2021.

2. Pursuant to the said order, since, according to the petitioner, the order has not been complied with by the respondent, this contempt petition was moved and when this contempt petition came up for hearing on 05.04.2022, after hearing both the sides, I passed the following order: This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 18.11.2021 made in W.P.No.12409 of 2021.

2. Today when the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing for admission Mr.G.Nanmaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions would submit that, the respondents are ready and willing to comply with the orders passed by this Court and whenever the petitioner or any other similarly placed persons bring the tractor-trailer for the purpose of registration, that would be undertaken as directed by 2/5

this Court in the said order.

3. The said statement made by the learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, is hereby recorded.

4. After hearing the statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, he would take the trailer belongs to the petitioner for the purpose of registration to the concerned registering authority immediately within a period of one week and after undertaking the said exercise, he will report before this Court whether the orders are being complied with or still there are any hiccups in complying with the said order. Therefore, he needs some time.

5. Post the Contempt Petition after two weeks. In the meanwhile, let the learned Additional Government Pleader give instructions about this development to the concerned registering authority.

3. In response to the same, there has been a communication by the respondent on 13.04.2022 directing the petitioner to produce the vehicle for 3/5

registration and accordingly, the petitioner has produced the vehicle i.e., tractor-trailer for registration and on verification of the same, the tractortrailer belongs to the petitioner was also registered and the documents pertaining to the registration also had been given to the petitioner and a copy of the same has been produced by the learned Additional Government Pleader before this Court for perusal.

4. In view of the aforesaid compliance, where the orders of this Court has been complied with and the Vehicle belongs to the petitioner, i.e., tractor-trailer, having been verified, was registered, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition, hence this contempt petition is closed.
