issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to survey the lands and to fix boundary stones in survey Nos. 94/4J in Sera Kuppam village, Kurinchipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District, on the basis of the 1st respondent Communication in O.Mu.E1/ 0597/ 2025, dated 05.2.2025 and also to change patta within a time frame as stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the on-line application submitted by the petitioner dated 14.12.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries and for changing the patta in the name of the petitioner. 2.

Heard Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents. 3.

The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property by virtue of a registered settlement deed dated 20.10.2021. The further case of the petitioner is that on-line patta stands in the name of the petitioners father. The petitioner submitted an application seeking for survey of the subject property for demarcation of boundaries and for changing the patta in the name of the

petitioner. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 14.12.2024 and conduct the survey for demarcation of boundaries based on the title document and the patta that stands in the name of the petitioner's father. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the claim made by the petitioner for transfer of patta in her name shall be considered and necessary orders shall be passed six weeks thereafter.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
