This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the Final Report/Charge sheet in Connection with Crime No.5 of 2020 dated 03.01.2020 within the time frame that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest justice.

2.When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.5 of 2020, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered the FIR in Crime No.5 of 2020, in which, investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks two months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4.Recording the same, the respondent Police is directed to file the final 2/4

report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
