ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 26.05.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property for demarcating the boundaries.

Heard Mr.V.Sakkarapani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2. 3.

The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered Sale deed dated 30.06.2009. The petitioner is also relying upon the joint patta that was issued in Patta No.784. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property and accordingly, submitted an application on 26.05.2024 and paid the necessary charges. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the

respondents to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 26.05.2024 to conduct the survey in the subject property for demarcation of boundaries in line with the title deed and the joint patta issued to the petitioner. If there are any rival claimants, the survey shall be conducted in their presence. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
