ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 436 and 511 of IPC in Crime No.42 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that while the de facto complainant was on his duty at Auditor Gurumurthy's house, eight persons came by four two wheelers, one of whom got down from bike and took out a bottle from a yellow colored bag with an auget tried to fire it. When the de facto complainant preventing from firing, they escaped from the place.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence and a false case has been foisted against him. He would submit that the name of the petitioner was not found in the FIR.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are 11 accused in this case and the petitioner is ranked as A11. He would submit that the petitioner along with the other accused are alleged to have attempted to fire the house of the Auditor. He would submit that detention order has been passed against the other 10 coaccused. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the serious nature of the allegations, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
