O.P.No.328 of 2015 and A.No.1477 of 2016 R.SUBRAMANIAN, J., The father of the minor child Nikhil Madhav has filed this Original Petition seeking permanent custody of the minor child Nikhil Madhav.
2. The respondent is the mother of the child. Both Mrs.A.Arulmozhi and Mrs.Geetha Ramaseshan, learned counsel appearing on either side would submit that the parties have entered into a compromise in the divorce proceedings that were pending before the I Additional Family Court at Chennai.
3. A copy of the joint memorandum of compromise signed by the parties and filed before the Family Court has also been produced. As per the said compromise, the respondent/ mother of the child agreed that the custody of the minor child will be with the father and she shall have visitation rights to see the child once in a month at the Kids Centre attached to Family Court, Chennai. Certain arrangements have also been made to enable the mother/ respondent to talk to the child between certain timings.

In view of the said arrangement, this Original Petition is disposed of entrusting permanent custody of the minor child Nikhil Madhav with the petitioner in the Original Petition viz., father of the child subject to the visitation rights that had been agreed between the parties in divorce proceedings in O.P.No.4245 of 2012 on the file of the I Additional Family Court, Chennai.
