Writ petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of certiorarified mandamus, or any other appropriate writ order or direction in the nature of writ to call for the records in pursuant to the original impugned proceedings of Provisional Assessment order in letter No.AEE/O & M/KTR dated 31.01.2012 and Final Assessment order in Letter No.AEE/O & M/KTR dated 09.02.2012 passed by the second respondent and quash the same, consequently direct the respondents to restore the electric pump set service connection No.454 of Vetharampatti of the petitioner which was disconnected on 27.01.2012 and to refund the amount of Rs.12,000/- collected from the petitioner.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that pursuant to the orders passed by this court dated 22.11.2013, the petitioner has paid the 50% of the final assessment made by the respondents and subsequently, he has also paid the entire amount of the final assessment to the respondents. Therefore, he submitted that inview of the above, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in the writ petition.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
