Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to include the petitioner's nominations dated 26.03.2018 received by the fourth respondent in the list of eligible candidates and to conduct election for the Board of

Directors of fourth respondent Society without rejecting the petitioner's nomination.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1, 3 and 4 would submit that in response to the direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1410/2018/T.nj.1 (13). 2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
