ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to act upon the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2026 seeking for fixation of fair compensation and for payment of the same for the lands acquired from the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner claims that she has not been paid compensation till date for the acquired lands morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. She had given a representation on 22.01.2026 to the 4th respondent seeking for fixation of fair compensation and for payment of the same to the petitioner. Since the said representation, according to the petitioner was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 3 and 4 and Mr.B.Vijay, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 has placed on record the written instructions received from the 2nd respondent. As seen from the same, the 1st respondent is said to have acted upon the said representation of the petitioner, dated 22.01.2026. As seen from the written instructions, the 1st respondent requests this Court to direct the petitioner to submit the original documents and obtain No Objection Certificate from the bank and get the compensation amount with protest and then submit a petition for enhancement of compensation with the Principal District Court, Chengalpattu, who is the competent authority empowered to grant enhancement of compensation to the petitioner.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner was never put on notice pursuant to the representation, dated 22.01.2026 submitted by the petitioner to the 4th respondent, which is the subject matter of this writ petition. He Page No.3 of 6
categorically contends, on instructions, that the petitioner was not aware of the contents of the written instructions received by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 from the 2nd respondent, dated 05.03.2026, which has been placed on record before this Court by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4.
6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2026 is considered on merits and in accordance with law by the 4th respondent, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and permit the petitioner to submit supporting documents in respect of her claim for fixation of fair compensation. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 22.01.2026 seeking for fixation of fair compensation and for payment of the same to the petitioner for the subject lands morefully disclosed in the affidavit Page No.4 of 6
filed in support of this writ petition, after affording one personal hearing to the petitioner and after permitting the petitioner to file supporting documents in respect of her claim for compensation and after giving due consideration to the same, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
